On May 1, Indiana launched a 5-phase Back On Track plan to reopen the state's various industries. As we continue to move through these reopening phases, our goal is to provide Fort Wayne residents and visitors with helpful information on our attractions and venues. 

Read on to find the current status and planned reopening dates for your favorite Fort Wayne attractions, sports, music venues, shopping centers, and public services.

Auburn Cord Duesenberg Museum | Closed

Botanical Conservatory | Closed
Date to Reopen: June 14 (at 50% capacity)
Conjure Coffee inside the Botanical Conservatory will also reopen on June 14.

Chief Richardville House | Closed

Combat Ops Entertainment | OPEN*
Outdoor attractions are open, including outdoor mini golf and axe throwing. Indoor attractions will open on June 14 at Noon.

Firefighters Museum | Closed

Fort Wayne Children's Zoo | Closed

  • June 14 – July 3: Members Only | The Zoo will open at 50% capacity. Members will need a free, timed ticket available here.
  • July 4: Open to the public

The Zoo will extend its 2020 season through October 31.

Parks open. Programs, playgrounds, and rental facilities closed.

Fort Wayne Parks | OPEN*

  • OPEN: Parks, golf courses, Lawton Skate Park, Hurshtown Reservoir, all park restrooms, athletic courts (tennis, basketball, futsal, and pickleball), Johnny Appleseed Campground, and athletic fields open for practice.
  • Closed Until Further Notice: Park playgrounds, splash pads, and spraygrounds

According to Indiana Governor Holcomb's Back-on-Track guidelines, restaurants were permitted to open for dine-in at 50% capacity beginning May 11. The guidelines include the following phases for restaurants:

  • Beginning May 11 | Dine-in at 50% capacity
  • Beginning June 13 | Dine-in at 75% capacity
  • Beginning July 4 | Dine-in at 100% capacity

Restaurants may choose to reopen at a slower pace, and some are continuing with just carryout during this time. Before visiting a restaurant, we recommend calling or visiting their website or social media pages to see what precautions and restrictions they have in place.
