Summertime and country music always seem to go together don’t they? Well, it’s not quite summer yet but you can get a taste of the country music on Thursday, May 1 when country music star Jake Owen comes to the Fort!
Owen, who first hit the country music scene in 2006, will be live in concert for the 7 p.m. show at the Allen County War Memorial Coliseum, conveniently located near retail shopping and dining options on the city’s north side.
Owen’s tour will feature many of the hit songs from his fourth studio album, aptly titled “Days of Gold.” Some of Owen’s most popular singles include “Barefoot Blue Jean Night” and “The One That Got Away.” Owen is known for his personal drive for self-improvement, his desire to experiment with music and the refreshment he brings to the country music scene.
Tickets for the show start at $20 each and are available at Ticketmaster outlets or online at Ticketmaster.com. The Coliseum is located at 4000 Parnell Ave.
Insider Tip: With this concert being on a Thursday night, why not make a weekend trip of it? There’s still time to plan a getaway to Fort Wayne. All the resources you need are available at VisitFortWayne.com!
