Fort Wayne has a plethora of pancake houses and hometown diners, but Cosmos is one-of-a-kind and, as some locals would say, beats them all! I was honestly very impressed with the décor when I entered Cosmos for the first time.  The spacious dining area was modern but still had a homey feeling.  It was also very clean and well-maintained by the hard-working and friendly staff. I went at lunch time, and the place was hopping with customers.  I was impressed at the staff’s efficiency in genuinely welcoming customers while balancing their other serving duties.  My waitress was especially personable and knowledgeable about the menu and daily specials.

Even though Cosmos is well-known for its breakfast and brunch menu items, I opted for a simple lunch, consisting of a grilled ham and cheese sandwich, chicken noodle soup, and fresh fruit.  Everything was delicious and fresh, and the huge bowl of soup warmed me up. I’ll definitely have to return on a cold, wintery day, if not sooner!

There’s something unique about Cosmos that keeps customers faithfully returning time and time again.  Maybe it’s the beautiful, dining interior.  Maybe it’s the delicious food, no matter how simple a meal.  It could possibly be the incredibly friendly staff that works there and provides excellent customer service.  Whatever the reason, Cosmos is clearly the place to be! Cosmos has two locations – at 3232 St. Joe Center Road and at 9807 Lima Road.  Come visit them in-person, on Facebook here and online here.  Catering services for up to 300 people are available.  Email the restaurant at cosmos@cosmosfortwayne.com.
