The Three Rivers Festival kicks off their 50th year on July 13th and will fill your weekend with mouth-watering elephant ears, classic carnival games, and so much more! This festival is the perfect time to get outside, have loads of fun, and explore our great city in an incredible way. Downtown Midway

The Three Rivers Festival is the perfect place to indulge in all of your favorite classic carnival past times - especially at the Downtown Midway!

Test your luck at the ring toss to win a special novelty prize or take a spin on the Ring of Fire to feel the wind in your hair and get your blood pumping which will be sure to put a smile on your face.

The Midway’s long list of exciting carnival rides and games will be sure to satisfy every one of your festival desires and check off some items off your summer bucket list.

Lunchtime Trolley

Take advantage of one of Three River’s favorite activities and hop on the Lunchtime Trolley to head to any one of your favorite foodie locations. The two trolleys will be running every 8 minutes between 8 downtown stops, which means you’ll never have to wait long to munch on your favorite festival snack.

Art in the Park

Head to the heart of Fort Wayne to take advantage of the stunning annual Art in the Park that will be sure to have something for every taste, style, and budget. Stroll down the street and enjoy live music and homemade treats from any one of the artisan food vendors while you browse the beautiful works of art from over 100 exhibitors that are pouring in from across the country.

Also, make sure you don’t miss the Chalk Walk on Saturday and Sunday, where you can watch Fort Wayne’s most talented artists transform the city streets into a massive colorful canvas.

Take Advantage of Summer Weather

Outdoor Concerts

Head over to Foellinger Outdoor Theatre to catch one of their incredible Summer Concert Series lineups and enjoy live music while relishing in perfect nighttime weather. The classic rock music from Grand Funk Railroad on Saturday and The Beach Boys on Sunday will be sure to have you dancing all weekend long!

Riverfront

Make sure you head down to the riverfront at some point to either catch a glimpse of the past or look into the future.

Travel back in time at the Old Fort during the Three Rivers Muster: A Timeline Event where you can see live historical demonstrations and reenactments. This special event is sure to put you right into history and show you how life was spanning over 2000 years.  

Jump forward into the future and take a ride on the water on a River Excursion where you can learn all about the bright future of our great rivers.

Open Streets

Take advantage of Fort Wayne’s giant block party on Sunday to play games and celebrate our city during Open Streets. Two miles of streets will be closed to cars and opened to the whole community to walk, bike, rollerblade, and skate down the city streets and see the city like you never have before. This amazing event also has giant board games, Zumba, live music, and so much more to end a great weekend of summer entertainment.
