In addition to long-time crowd favorites like The Deck and Club Soda, a few more places have popped up. Whether you’re in town for a convention or to visit family, you should add these great restaurants to your to-do list.

One of Fort Wayne’s great spots is the perfect place for locals and visitors to hang out. I’m talking about the Allen County Public Library. The 14 locations throughout Allen County, including the main branch in downtown Fort Wayne, offer a plethora of regularly scheduled activities. There are many things to brag about with this library system, but I’ll limit my praises to 6 reasons.

Delectable Chocolate - DeBrand Fine Chocolates New Location

For nearly three decades, DeBrand Fine Chocolates has been a favorite destination for visitors to the Fort Wayne area. With a focus on high-quality chocolates and desserts, it has remained a top stop for locals as well. West Central Home and Garden Tour & Artfest

September is an ideal time to be outdoors in Fort Wayne, and so it's no surprise that the month is packed with activities to keep you busy.

One of my favorites is the West Central Home and Garden Tour and Artfest on September 10 & 11. This event is held in Fort Wayne's West Central neighborhood, in the area bounded by Berry and Jefferson Streets to the north and south, and Ewing and Garden Streets to the east and west. I often drive by these historic homes on my way into and out of downtown, and I've wondered what is inside. The Home and Garden Tour is a wonderful opportunity for you to see!

Taste of the Arts- Food to Look Forward To

For a foodie like me, Taste of the Arts is a dream come true. Every year, in late August, Arts United transforms Main Street and the surrounding area into a regional festival celebrating the arts. The event features music, dance, fine arts, theatre, history, and local food. The proceeds raised fund arts and culture programs and organizations. There’s only one thing better than a food festival—one that also raises money to support organizations that improve the quality of life in our community.
