Historic Lincoln Highway Post to be Installed at Visitors Center

Visit Fort Wayne is honored to receive one of the historic Lincoln Highway post markers outside of our Visitors Center, marking our location as a stop along the original Lincoln Highway route.

A press conference will be held on Friday, October 30th at 11:00AM in the Visitors Center to unveil the marker, in honor of the original opening of the Lincoln Highway on Halloween day in 1913.


Winter Outdoor Dining

Visit Fort Wayne is collecting a list of restaurants offering outdoor dining this winter. We look forward to promoting this information to both locals and visitors throughout the season. If you are planning an outdoor dining area, please let us know! We would like to include your business on this list along with specifics about any comfort options you are utilizing such as heaters, wind barriers, non-metal seating, etc.

Free Food Delivery to Fort Wayne Residents from Waiter on the Way

As of October 1, Waiter on the Way has partnered with the Downtown Improvement District and the City of Fort Wayne to offer free meal delivery to Fort Wayne residents from all restaurants with code: DTFWCARES.

The partnership hopes to provide local restaurants with a much needed boost in revenue, and will run through the end of the year.
