National Junior Prospects Hockey LogoFORT WAYNE, Ind. - For the second straight year, the National Junior Prospects Hockey League will host its annual 16U & 18U tournament in Fort Wayne.

From October 14-16, more than 1,000 junior hockey players, coaches and officials will compete at the SportONE Parkview Icehouse. The first puck will drop at 7:30 a.m. on Friday. Five games will also take place at the Allen County War Memorial Coliseum this weekend. A full schedule of games can be found here.

Event organizers expect 31 teams to travel to Fort Wayne, including teams from Georgia, New York, Michigan, Pennsylvania, Ohio, and more. The tournament will bring in an estimated $392,000 in economic impact.

The NJPHL's mission is to provide exposure to all junior-aged hockey players to Junior A, NCAA College Division I & III, and professional scouts at its showcase events.
