Your Flavor Seeker Itinerary:

  1. Dip your toes into the flavors of Fort Wayne with a progressive meal through Union Street Market - the region's first food hall and public market featuring dozens of vendors. Saturday mornings May through October, find Ft. Wayne's Farmers Market outdoors at Electric Works, offering local produce, homemade goods, and tasty treats from local vendors.
  2. Wrap up your Friday night with a light-studded skyline view from a rooftop bar like Birdie's Rooftop - atop The Bradley, or Conner’s Rooftop - located on top of the Hampton Inn & Suites.
  3. Start your Saturday with the YLNI Farmers Market for a multi-course breakfast from local vendors, accented by fresh, local produce, flowers, and handmade goods. Insider Tip: Many of Fort Wayne's food trucks gather at the markets! And every Thursday in the summer, Fort Wayne hosts a food truck rally at lunch in Freimann Square.
  4. Be sure to reserve your table for a farm-fresh fine dining experience at Tolon, Copper Spoon, or Junk Ditch Brewing Company!
  5. Complete your Saturday evening with a sweet treat or wine flight from DeBrand Fine Chocolates, or a beverage flight from Country Heritage's downtown tasting room, the new Vinland Reserve Winery, or one of the many breweries around town.
  6. It's not a getaway without brunch! Find savory carnitas benedict at Proximo, a boozy brunch at Trubble Brewing, bottomless mimosas at Hoppy Gnome, or drive to the north side of town where Black Canyon offers a special brunch feature every Saturday!
  7. Taste some of the world's finest cuisine without the cost of a flight. Favorites include our Burmese restaurants, new destinations like True Kimchi, and the street tacos from SolBird Kitchen & Tap.
  8. Stretch your legs in Promenade Park or on more than 120 miles of connected trails.
  9. Plan your getaway around one of the many food festivals to maximize your getaway. Favorites include the St. Joe Pickle Festival, Taste of the Arts, BBQ Ribfest, Brewed IN the Fort, and all of the cultural celebrations like Arab Fest, Germanfest, and Greek Fest!
