Indianapolis might be best known for the Indianapolis 500. Located inside the track is the Indianapolis Motor Speedway Hall of fame Museum with approximately 75 vehicles on display at all times including more than 30 Indianapolis 500-winning cars. Other places to see include the Monument Circle, the six cultural districts, and the many museums located in the city including: Carter Toy Museum, Indianapolis Museum of Art, The Children’s Museum of Indianapolis, Colonel Eli Lilly Civil War Museum, Crispus Attucks Museum, Eiterjorg Museum of American Indians and Western At, Indiana Medical History Museum, Indiana State Museum, Indiana Transportation Museum, Indianapolis Firefighters Museum and Historical Society, and the Indianapolis Museum of Contemporary Art.
