Located on the campus of IPFW, Williams Theatre was built in 1992 and is home to the Department of Theatre. Seating 297, the Williams boasts a semi-thrust stage, state-of-the-art lighting, scene shop, costume shop, rehearsal/dance studio, dressing rooms and a collection of plays and theatre and dance videos. The theatre computer lab is included in the CVPA multimedia lab in the adjacent Visual Arts Building.
2017-06-02 20:00:002017-06-03 20:00:00Love and Darkness- Mikautadze Dance Theatre<p><strong><em>Love and Darkness</em></strong>, is a dance performance featuring the MDT dancers and collaborations with composers Debra Lynn, David Mikautadze, and Silbo Gomero's Hope Arthur and Kurt Roembke. The evening will also highlight mezzo-soprano, Alana Miller, The South Side High School Dancers, and a unique collaborative work with Nicki Meier, exploring trauma and the process of healing through artistic expression. <em>Love and Darkness </em>is enhanced by Corey Lee's lighting design and Jeanne Pendleton's costume design. Don't miss the dance, music, poetry, visual media, and design of the Mikautadze Dance Theatre artists and collaborators.</p>
