Cellist Sharon Robinson joins The Phil to perform Lalo’s Concerto in D minor, a piece that carries the presence of a composer coming into his prime. The Phil then performs Sibelius’ Symphony No. 2, a passionate piece once regarded as the anthem for Finnish Independence.
