Russion-born pianist Ilya Yakushev so enthralled a San Francisco Symphony audience with his performances of Prokofiev's first and fourth piano concertos that he was invited back to play the third, again to high praise. He brings his artistry and Prokofiev's third to the Embassy stage. Brahms' Piano Quartet is given new life through a larger than life arrangement by Arnold Schoenberg, honoring the musical integrity of Brahms, while creating a feast for orchestra.
