Summer Trolley Shopping
Saturday, July 28, 2012
11:00am - 5:00pm

Summer Trolley Shopping is a day to explore unique gift shops in Fort Wayne’s best place to find local merchandise and community memorabilia – downtown!  Park near your favorite shop or cultural attraction and ride the trolley between locations.  Downtown merchants will be holding Saturday hours and some are offering special deals too,  from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.  Hours at locations vary.

The trolley is free. Ride to all kids of activities 11 - 5pm followed by free Citilink downtown loop until 11pm.

More than 30 gift shops will be open for Trolley Shopping. In addition, several businesses or vacant spaces will host artists for “pop-up” retail galleries. Start at one of the locations listed or flag the trolley down, grab your map and explore downtown. Trolley stops will be located within a block of open businesses. The trolley is free and sponsored by PNC Bank and the Downtown Improvement District.

Downtown is the place to “shop local” with products from long-time local retailers for furniture, jewelry, toys, engraved items and flower arrangements. You can support uniquely Fort Wayne organizations when you purchase souvenirs from the local museums, attractions, small retailers or Visit Fort Wayne’s assortment of Fort Wayne items. There’s more than you can imagine in downtown Fort Wayne.
