The History Center presents "Mystic Chords of Memory:" The Opening of the West in American Memory by Sara Gabbard.

Sara Gabbard is a well-known local historian who worked for many years at the Lincoln Museum. “Lincoln Lore,” the museum’s quarterly magazine edited by Gabbard, was named one of the top 50 magazines in the United States three years running by the Chicago Tribune. This will be held in the Shields Room at 2:00 pm.  This is free and sponsored by Dunsire Family Foundation.
