The Very Hungry Caterpillar is a delightful take on Eric Carle’s popular illustrated children’s book and will be performed for the first time at Fort Wayne Ballet’s new downtown studios.  It is the first of three Family Series productions this year, followed by Peter Pan on February 18 and The Tales of Beatrix Potter on May 12.  Performances run approximately 35 minutes and are followed by an interactive party with the characters. Guests can have their photos taken with the cast, get autographs and receive a special treat. The Fort Wayne Ballet Family Series provides an excellent entrée into dance for audiences of all ages. Families are invited to bring blankets and sit informally while the story unfolds right before their eyes!
