Flourish by Katherine Rohrbacher
Opening Reception Saturday June 24, 6-9
Show runs through August 18th
A colorful series that encourages us to pause and appreciate the beauty of life amid a chaotic world. Katherine plays with the juxtaposition of digital icons over floral imagery in what she calls her "stop to smell the roses" paintings. Her perception is crafted with glittery Rorschach prints over floral patterns. Both beauty and Rorschach inkblots, as well as art, are all about perception. As they say, it is all in the eye of the beholder.
