Down the Line is a one-night music tribute to legends of rock-n-roll.
Down the Line 11 offers five local bands paying respect to those that inspired them. Experience Bob Dylan as performed by Phil Schurger’s Sun Gate. Rock with Deep Purple by The Union Project. Remember Prince with Soul35, encounter INXS from Sankofa with Jared Andrews and celebrate Chicago by the Tim Harrington Band.

Phil Schurger’s Sun Gate
Performing Bob Dylan
Sun Gate is an improvisational rock band led by guitarist Phil Schurger. The music blends his passion for poetry and explorations of consciousness through improvisation. Through its trance grooves and extended improvisations, the Sun Gate regularly collaborates with a wide array of artists.
The Union Project
Performing Deep Purple
The band got its start in early 2014 through the Sweetwater Build-A-Band. The Union Project has played the Three Rivers Festival, BeatleFest and opened for bluesman Davy Knowles. In addition, The Union Project released its first EP in 2016. Influences include The Jimi Hendrix Experience, The Allman Brothers Band, Cream, The Black Keys, Led Zeppelin and Deep Purple.
Tim Harrington Band
The Fort Wayne group started as a cover band in 2001 playing local clubs and festivals. In 2005, Tim Harrington joined the band and revamped the group into a 7-piece horn band. The horn band adds its own flair to covers.
Sankofa with Jared Andrews
Fort Wayne rapper Sankofa has been tackling his love of words over fresh beats since his first release on cassette tape way back in 1999. Rap classics mixed with the Motown, Stones, Moody Blues, Midnight Oil, Dragon, INXS, Beatles and Iron Butterfly.
Performing pop, rock and soul with a contemporary R&B twist. This Fort Wayne band finds inspiration in jazz standards. Motown and reggae, Pop, Rock, Soul.
