The Fort Wayne Parks and Recreation Department hosts two Amazing Races a year. The first race is Saturday, April 13, 2013 with 40 family/intergenerational teams. The second race is Saturday, October 5, 2013 with of 30 adult teams. Solve clues, perform challenges, and tour the city! That’s what they do during the sixth annual Fort Wayne Parks Amazing Race.

Teams are limited to 4 members. One participant on each team must be over 50 years of age and one participant on each team must be between the ages of 8 and 15. The other two participants can be any age over 8 years. Each team is responsible for its own transportation. Special prize packages will be awarded to the top 3 teams but every team will receive a prize (top team in each challenge will also win prizes). We’ll end the race with a victory party where prizes will be distributed and stories can be shared. T-shirts will be provided for each team member.

The Community Center offers beautiful, flexible space for receptions, reunions, meetings, performances, dances, office parties, seminars and more. The Center is audio-visually equipped and has a full service kitchen facility. Alcohol is permitted at the Center and there are no restrictions on catering.
