If you’re like me, you love to get moving any way you can. If you’re planning a trip to Fort Wayne, you’ll be happy to know there are plenty of ways to get up and going. Consider a few of these calorie burnin’ options:

Hit the Trails

Fort Wayne is home to more than 100 miles of trails, which are ideal for walking, jogging, rollerblading—whatever gets you going. Grab a map at the Visitors Center or print one, and you’re all set.Inside Lazer X

Jump it Out

Who says Sky Zone has to be just for kids? This indoor trampoline park promises oodles of fun. Sky Zone Fort Wayne was completed in 2013 and offers open jump, a SkySlam court, SkyRobics fitness classes and Ultimate Dodgeball (when available) For just about any age, shape or size, Sky Zone Fort Wayne is the ultimate 3-D play experience!

Run a Race

Are 5ks your thing? You’re in luck. There are several races scheduled now through the end of the year—many of which benefit a good cause. So get those running shoes out and show us what you’re made of! I do the Galloping Gobbler every year on Thanksgiving and it's always a good time.

Hit the Ice

The SportOne/Parkview Icehouse is the place for all things related to ice sports. Ice skating is a great way to burn calories, and boost confidence at the same time. The rink is available to the public 1-3 pm Monday-Friday for $5 admission. You can drop in Fridays 8-10 pm, Saturday 1-3 pm and Sunday 1-3 pm for $7 admission. Skate rental is $3.

Tag, you're it!

Laser tag combines both physical ability and strategy. You have two ways to get in on the action. Adventure awaits at both UltraZone and Lazer X. Remember to wear comfortable shoes!

It's easy to find ways to move; you just have to get a little creative!
