It's time to jam. Families, young adults and couples alike will enjoy this budget-friendly rock concert. The 2012 Winter Jam Tour comes to Fort Wayne's own Allen County War Memorial Coliseum on January 22. Tickets are sold at the door and are only $10 per person. Artists on this year's tour include Grammy-nominated alternative rock band Skillet, along with Sanctus Real, former Newsboys frontman Peter Furler, Kari Jobe, Building 429, Group 1 Crew, illusionist Brock Gill and national speaker Nick Hall. Doors open extra early for a pre-jam party which includes performances from Dara Maclean, For King & Country and We As Human. VeggieTales' Bob and Larry will also make a special appearance. The Winter Jam annual concert series began in 1995 and has featured many of the top names in Christian music from TobyMac, to Third Day, the Newsboys and Steven Curtis Chapman. In 2012 the series will make stops in 47 cities nationwide. Tickets for Winter Jam 2012 are sold at the door for $10 each. Arrive by 3:30 p.m. to see the pre-jam party on January 22.
