Some of you may not know that the Williams Woodland Park Neighborhood is known for being Fort Wayne, Indiana’s first planned neighborhood. But anyone who has visited would guess that they are known for their diversity, enchanting architecture, and of course, history. Williams Woodland Park is putting on their annual Holiday Home Tour December 3 from 5pm-9pm and December 4 from 1pm-5pm. You can stroll through a selection of houses, apartments and buildings in all their magnificent décor. In addition to this feast for your eyes, enjoy live music, treats and free horse drawn carriage rides. (Sounds like a great holiday tradition!) If you purchase tickets in advance, there is a $2 discount for individuals and also discounts for groups of 4. Children 10 and under are free. Tickets can be purchased the day of the event at Simpson United Methodist Church at 2501 S. Harrison St. Many retail shops around town are selling the tickets. (Tip for the men: make this a well-thought out date night that will be sure to impress that special someone by pairing it with an elegant dinner.)
