Are you ready for some good ‘ole American fun? Looking for something fun to with the kids on these cold wintery days? Then, lace up your roller skates and head to the Roller Dome! Roller Dome North, which opened its doors in 1950, is a Fort Wayne institution. Kids, teens and adults have enjoyed skating there for more than half a century! And Roller Dome South, which opened in 1972, happens to have one of the largest skating floors in Indiana. Skate rentals are available at both locations. Or, if you’re looking to purchase some skates of your own, you can shop in Roller Dome’s Pro Shop. You’ll enjoy a great mix of tunes as you make your way around Roller Dome’s spacious rinks. Periodically, DJs engage skaters with a variety of interactive games, including the limbo on wheels! (It’s pretty tricky, but always a crowd favorite!) And, if you need to take a break from all the action, you can play an arcade game or sit and relax while you munch on some tasty treats from the concession stand. (You can choose from a variety of snacks, including soft drinks, pizza, hot dogs and nachos.) In addition to open skate sessions, visitors are welcome to rent the facility for private parties or participate in a skating class. Be sure to make the Roller Dome part of your next visit to Fort Wayne! Roller Dome North 444 W.
