Did you know that Fort Wayne is the the #1 City for Minor League Sports? It's true, and it's easy to see why! Our city is host to THREE major players in their respective minor league sports, and our successful history as a hot bed for sporting talent goes as far back as the early 1900s. There's truly something for everyone, whether your love the fast pace of Fort Wayne Komet Hockey, watching hoops courtesy of the Fort Wayne Mad Ants, or kicking back at the ball diamond with the Fort Wayne TinCaps (whose home opener will be Sunday, April 12) - we have all of your bases (so to speak) covered! Fort Wayne Komets games are full of action!

The week of April 1-8 is a great week for sports here in Fort Wayne! From Wednesday to Wednesday Fort Wayne will be the place to be for some great end of season action, as both the Komets and Mad Ants will be wrapping up their regular seasons. You can catch the Komets on the ice on Wednesday, April 8th against the Evansville Icemen, Saturday, April 3rd against the Elmira Jackels and Wednesday, April 8th against the Cincinnati Cyclones. If you've never been to a Komets game before these will be great chances, as the Komets are currently positioned in 1st place of their division and will be making a strong end of season push before going into the ECHL playoffs! Komets fans are passionate and full of energy, making these games a lot of fun whether you're a hockey newbie or a seasoned Komets fan!

The Mad Ants will hit the court on Saturday, April 4th against the Sioux Falls Skyforce! The Mad Ants are also currently leading their division in the NBA D-League, which means stakes will be high in their last game before playoff action starts. Mad Ants games are super family-friendly and a lot of fun with entertainment on and off the court!
