Go on a Christmas Cruise with Bower-North Productions

Whether or not you solve the crime, you’ll have a good time. Such is the case with the bumbling, confused Detective John Fieldstone in the latest audience-participation mystery from Bower-North Productions called “A Christmas Cruise.” Detective John Fieldstone and other characters will call on audience members to help solve the latest of Fieldstone’s cases with a setting aboard a cruise ship at Christmas. Fieldstone is portrayed by Larry Bower who has been writing scripts and performing as Fieldstone for his theater troupe since 1987. According to Bower, Fieldstone is a combination of the iconic TV detectives Inspector Gadget and Columbo. “He is popular with audiences,” says Bower. “Everyone loves to see an anti-hero who appears to be a loser and seems to be asking the wrong questions. People identify with that because none of us are perfect and we all have foibles. But in the end John Fieldstone always gets his man.” The dinner theater production will be held at the Courtyard by Marriott in downtown Fort Wayne on December 8 and 9. The hotel is located at 1150 South Harrison Street. The meal includes appetizers, champagne, turkey, beef stroganoff, red skin mash potato, sweet potato casserole, green beans Julianne with red pepper, Waldorf salad, Caesar salad, rolls, and festive desserts. Doors open at 6:00 p.m. Appetizers and champagne will be served 6:15 p.m.-6:45 p.m. Dinner and dessert to be served 7:00 p.m. A cash bar will be available. Public is welcome. Tickets: $39.95 per person if purchased after November 23rd. A discount of $34.95 per ticket is available before November 23. For ticket purchases call the Marriott at 260.579.9226 or email Carol Roop at email@example.com. As someone who has seen a couple of Bower North shows, I can vouch for the laughs you’ll receive from this show. The entire cast will be engaging and filled with enough quips to keep everyone amused.
