What do a fish fry, a pageant, food, fireworks and live music have in common? They are all highlights of the Huntertown Heritage Days Festival, an end-of-the-summer celebration that will delight you and your whole family. And this weekend is your chance to take advantage of all the entertaining events offered at the festival. Step back in time as you enter this 1920’s themed fair running August 5-6. Enjoy a few old-fashioned events such as a pie baking contest and auction, a fish fry, silent auction, parade and the annual Miss Huntertown Heritage Days Pageant. And delight your kids with all of the children’ activities and games! They will love amusing clown and magic shows, sidewalk chalk contests, a bubble show and more. Come early Saturday morning for a 5K run after getting a good night’s sleep following Friday night’s firework show. And adults can treat themselves to a karaoke contest and live music in the beer tent both evenings of the festival.
