When fall arrives and women’s lives begin to revolve around pumpkin lattes, boots and candles that smell like crisp autumn mornings, men might feel a little overwhelmed and in need of something manly. Saturday, November 8 is the perfect opportunity for men to embrace their testosterone and experience something masculine. The Memorial Coliseum is hosting the 9th Annual Men’s Expo, sponsored by 98.9 The Bear and 106.7FM/1380AM The Fan. The event promises a day of “everything MAN!” From 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., the public is invited to attend this free event, which includes featured local businesses like ACE Game Room Gallery, Tilted Kilt, Berry’s Welding, Penn Station East Coast Subs, and many more. The Fort Wayne Men’s Expo has grown so much in popularity over the past eight years that the venue keeps growing in size. Last year nearly 3,000 men came out to enjoy the food sampling, entertainment, beer, and thousands of dollars in giveaways. For a man who loves sports, there's the Game Day Lounge where you can kick back, grab a beer and watch the best of college football, as well as enter for a chance to win tickets to the see the Colts and Patriots battle it out in Indianapolis. And for the true athletes, there's a basketball competition with a grand prize of two tickets to an Indiana Pacers home game. If motorcycles are more your thing, come pop a wheelie on the House of Yamaha Wheelie Machine and see what it feels like. Or if you're really feeling adventurous, guys can see how long they last on the Rusty Spur mechanical bull. Aside from all the man fun to be had in the aisles of the Men’s Expo, there’s also a Texas Hold ‘Em Tournament. While all 150 spots are already reserved, interested parties can still register for alternate spots in the tournament.
