Dozens of local authors will meet for the Allen County Public Library’s annual Author Fair on November 19. The Author Fair will take place at the Allen County Public Library downtown in the Great Hall and meeting rooms. Children’s books, non-fiction historical, romance, and women’s lit are just a few of the genres that will be represented. The authors will speak about their titles and the writing process as well as participate in a question and answer session from audience members. Access Fort Wayne may be on site to film the panel discussions which will begin at 12 noon and end at approximately 5:00 pm. Some of the featured authors are Shirley Jump, Lynn Rowe Reed, Laurie Gray, Jeremy Asher, Tinea Beaugard, Tibor Bierbaum, Patrick Boylen, Terra Brantley, Scott Brewer, Betty Buttram, Quamia L. Carter, Devon D. Cooper, Curtis L. Crisler, Adam DeVille, Buff Dormeier, John J. Foster, Kelley Renz,. A list of the scheduled authors and their topics can be found online. The staff of the Bookmark Bookstore in Fort Wayne will assist the authors at the event by selling titles that day, enabling authors to interact with the audience and sign books. The Bookmark will also sell titles prior to the event at the store in anticipation of the author's fair.
