Insider's Tip: They have a vegan flavor of the day that is simply divine.

There's also Cold Stone Creamery in Jefferson Pointe. Oh, and be sure to check out the Brooklyn Pints Microcreamery. They are located in Sheridan Court Apartments and serve homemade ice cream, milkshakes, and coffee drinks.

Be a kid again at the Fort Wayne Children's Zoo

The award-winning Fort Wayne Children's Zoo is fun for children and adults alike. Here you can see everything from lions to stingrays. I recommend the Sky Safari Ride, which provides a one-of-a-kind view of the zoo campus. Admission is $15 for adults. Hours are 9 to 7 p.m. from Memorial Day to Labor Day.

Have a Picnic

Both Foster Park and Lakeside Park are ideal places to take in a quiet lunch. If you're lucky, you can secure a picnic table. Bring your camera to take photos of the beautiful flowers.

Here's to planning a fun-filled day with your sweetie!
