See the "Queen of Clean" in Fort Wayne!

Chonda was voted the 2009 Comedian of the Year and given the Visionary Award in the Christian Music Hall of Fame. She has authored six books including Laughing In the Dark and has ranked among Pollstar’s top-selling live performers. Pierce mixes music and comedy into a frothy blend that always leaves audiences laughing hysterically.

“I come straight from the world of wooden pews and hell fire preaching. Chonda Pierce just may have been the best kept secret in entertainment for the past decade, a comedian with a firm hold on the heartland of America, but she is quickly gaining acclaim across this country.

Chonda Pierce will be taking the stage at the Fort Wayne Embassy Theatre Saturday, November 12 at 7pm. Tickets are $23 for general admission, $35 for VIP early entry and groups of 10 or more are just $17 each. October 28^th is Engine 765 Day. The Fort Wayne Railroad Historical Society will host a fall open house for this special event.  Visitors can explore the operating 765, tour the workshop and take a caboose ride. Admission is free, caboose rides are $4. They will be open October 28 from 12pm-4pm, October 29 from 10am-4pm and October 30 from 12pm-4pm.

See Bryan Adams - solo and acoustic!

Bryan Adams brings his highly successful solo-acoustic concert tour to Fort Wayne with a special, intimate concert at the Embassy Theatre on November 2, at 8 p.m.

Tickets are $77.75, $52.75 and $37.75 and go on sale Friday, September 30 at 10 am at Ticketmaster. The show at Embassy Theatre provides a rare opportunity for fans to see Adams as they’ve not seen him before: solo, acoustic and intimate.

The Historic Chief Richardville House

It’s that time of year again, time to start thinking about holiday shopping, especially those who are difficult to shop for.

Trader Days at the Chief Richardville House offers unique handmade gifts that are just the thing! Vendors, craftsmen and artists will be selling Native American items such as beading, carved wood pieces, corn husk dolls, shields, jewelry, clothing and feather work. And of course, they will also have Christmas ornaments and homemade baked goods.

Trader Days will be open November 5^th and 6^th from 1 pm – 4 pm both days. This event is free to the public.
