El Dia de Los Muertos (Day of the Dead)

October 20 – November 4

Fort Wayne Museum of Art

311 Main Street

Visitors will enjoy this special exhibit featuring Mexican altars to honor the souls of departed relatives. The Day of the Dead is a way for family members to celebrate the lives of loved ones, and it is a day characterized by sugar candy skulls, festive paper decorations, and marigolds—the most traditional flower of the season.

Please join us Saturday, October 27 to celebrate this exhibition! The FWMoA will feature traditional Mexican dancing, music, and poetry in honor of this special day.
