FORT WAYNE, IN - Fort Wayne is pleased to be hosting CubingUSA, a speedcubing community, for their National tournament this July 7-9. The United States National Championship is the largest cubing competition in the country.

The competition is a monumental event, attracting internationally ranked competitors, setting many world records every year and attracting a growing amount of spectators and competitors.

This event will bring over 3,000 attendees (800-1,000 competitors) to the Grand Wayne Convention Center and 2 hotels, and over $246,429 in economic impact for the community. The public is invited to view this unique, competitive spectacle free of charge.

Past regional competitions such as the Summit City Open and the Indiana World Cube Association Event have been held in Fort Wayne, but this is the first time the city has hosted a cubing style competition of this scale.

CubingUSA is a 100% volunteer run organization that arranges National and World competitions and provides resources for speedcubers in the United States. Founded in 2004, the organization collaborates with the World Cube Association (WCA) to support the cubing community.

The competition is open to all competitors, regardless of nationality or experience as long as they are familiar with the regulations.
