Discover Fort Wayne

The City of Fort Wayne and Visit Fort Wayne invite you to get to know your community better and take time to "Discover Fort Wayne!"

Discover Fort Wayne was started based on Mayor Henry’s vision for creating a better sense of community pride and the results of the Knight Foundation’s Soul of the Community study on community attachment. View an online copy of the study here and view the presentation made to Fort Wayne leaders in May here.

Discover Fort Wayne is also following two Fort Wayne college students who are sharing their adventures of Fort Wayne through the eye of a video camera. Damon Dominique and Khin Phyu, are exploring the Summit City and are creating short videos on the many events, activities and attractions that the city has to offer. These videos are posted on YouTube and can be viewed in the “favorites” section of the City’s FortWayneIND YouTube channel.
Explore and celebrate your city, and then, share your findings with the world! As Fort Wayne ambassadors, we can all share our unexpected experiences and new traditions with our visiting friends and family.

Tell us what makes our city YOUR Fort Wayne  with a video!  Watch and share your own clips on YouTube at: www.youtube.com/FortWayneIND
